"New Directions Powder Metallurgy in a Sheet Metal World"

Christine Norton et Susan Breen Silvy ont été cette année les principales conservatrices du livre "New Directions: Powder Metallurgy in a Sheet metal World" et de l'exposition du même tire sur Crafthous, visible ici et  ici. A leurs cotés, le jury a été également coposé de Ann Davis, Gwynne Rukenbrod et Jeannette Froese LeBlanc. Le travail de 64 artistes à été séléctionné pour remplir les pages d'un livre dont les bénéfices sont renversés à CERF+, une oeuvre de charité spécialement conçu pour aider les artistes en grandes difficultés. Cette exposition à aussi été présenté pendant la conférence Metal Clay World Conference cet été du 14-17 Juillet 2011.

Christine Norton and Susan Breen Silvy were the initiators and main curators of the new gallery image book "New Directions: Powder Metallurgy in a Sheet metal World", in parallel with the online exhibition of the same name on Crafthous, visible here and here. The other jury members were Ann Davis, Gwynne Rukenbrod and Jeannette Froese LeBlanc. Amazing work by 64 international artists fill both the exhibit and printed catalog available as of summer. Sales of the book Benefits of sales are overturned to CERF+, a non-profit organization specially focused on helping artists in serious difficulties. This exhibition was also introduced during conference Metal Clay World Conference this summer from July 14-17, 2011.
