Cours avec Robert Dancik sur le Faux Bone (tm) - "The Little Bead Shop", Edinburgh, Scottland les 15 et 16 Août 2009:
Je parles souvent de Faux Bone (tm), cette matière plastique de la famille des PVC, thermoformable qui peut être coupée, sciée, sculptée, gravée, rivetée, associée à divers métaux, etc. Robert Dancik, l'homme derrière la matière, celui qui l'a mise au point pour une application plus artistique (cliquez sur la photo pour voir la galerie photo sur son site) anime un stage de deux jours, niveau débutant et avancé confondus, sur les techniques qu'il utilise avec le Faux Bone. Ce stage aura lieu à "The Little Bead Shop" qui organise également plusieurs stages tout au long de l'année au tour de diverses techniques de la pâte d'argent tout au long de l'année et à venir.

I have often talked about Faux Bone (tm), a plastic material of the PVC family which can be thermoformed, cut, sawed, sculpted,  carved, engraved, riveted, etc, and combined with other materials and metals in the most interesting ways. Well, Robert Dancik, the man behind the material and the person who adapted it to be used artistically(click on the photos for Robert's gallery page), will be teaching the techniques he developed around Faux Bone  during a beginner to advanced workshop this coming August 15th and 16th. The workshop will take place at "The Little Bead Shop", which also offers a number of classes around metal clay throughout the year and more to come.

j'aimerai bien essayer ! dommage pour le cours! j'aurais adoré y participer et aussi allez voir l'écosse, que je rêve de visiter depuis de nombreuses années!
en tous cas les créations de dancik sont superbes
